The main objective of this project is the development of active packaging systems based on natural resources (starch and PLA), for the packaging of fresh food (meat and mushrooms), to increase the storage period of these products while maintaining their organoleptic and nutritional properties throughout the conservation period.

This project has received funding under the INNPACTO 2011 Sub-programme of the Ministry of Science and Innovation.
