The MODEL2BIO project aims to develop a decision support system tool to determine the composition of waste streams from the agri-food industry and make recommendations on how to use them more efficiently. The tool will be based on the interconnection of a simulation module, an optimisation algorithm and a life cycle analysis module. Project recommendations will be formulated from a holistic perspective (technical, economic, environmental and social).

This project has received funding from the BBI JU, under the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme, under grant agreement no. 887191
