MARTÍNEZ SOMALO’s recently launched confeti,range won the INNOVAL 2018 most innovative product award in the meat and derivatives category at the last Barcelona FOOD Fair.

INNOVAL showcases the most innovative food and beverage product launches and is a place for companies to exhibit the industry’s most innovative products, which is why this award proves that the product line has been genuinely acknowledged by the industry.

The range of products has been called “the sausage of the future” by many publications and includes the best MARTÍNEZ SOMALO pork products (chorizo sausage and ham) in the form of granules and shavings. It is a novel way of eating sausage products that differs from the traditional methods of slicing or cutting. The “Confeti” can be used as a topping for salads, cream of vegetable soups, cooked dishes and anything else that might benefit from a touch of sausage or ham flavouring.
